ARCHITECT@WORK is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda Kafka as Marketing and Sales Manager, of their Toronto Show. Linda’s extensive experience in marketing, event planning, and sales combined with her experience in the interior design and architectural sectors promises to create an exciting, memorable Event next April 11 and 12, 2018.
Linda will play a pivotal role as ARCHITECT@WORK’s Canadian Brand Ambassador as she aspires to connect, stimulate and facilitate the prosperous partnership between architectural vendors, architects, interior designers, urban planners, government agencies, property developers, educators and the professional affiliated associations.
The 2017 Event focused on innovation showcasing the industry’s most exciting new products, materials and applications from over 76 exhibitors from across Europe and North America. Visited by over 1,300 trade professionals from prominent architectural and interior design firms in its debut year, the next edition is already gaining momentum as a “must attend” event. The 2018 two-day Show will continue to exhibit the best in architectural design and innovation. The Show will once again be located at the Enercare Centre, 100 Princess Blvd on the Canadian National Exhibition grounds, which is strategically located near downtown Toronto with easy access to highways, hotels, restaurants and much more for attendees’ convenience.
This year, Linda will work closely with the ARCHITECT@WORK Head Office team in Belgium as they plan to add more vendors and collaborators to present, support and stimulate architecture in a totally unique, enjoyable and original experience for the trade in Canada. Linda will be at the helm of the ARCHITECT@WORK Toronto Show to attract and nurture the best in architecture and design to meet the evolving requirements of industry manufacturers, trade professionals and associations. She will continue to strengthen current business alliances and forge new partnership and opportunities to enhance the ARCHITECT@WORK Show’s reputation as Canada’s premier Showcase for Architecture and Interior Design.
Linda’s background is well-suited to provide the supportive and collaborative environment that will provide a prosperous experience for the trade at the ARCHITECT@WORK Show. Over the years, as a respected representative and advocate of the Interior Design and Home Furnishings industry, she has built a positive reputation for strong leadership, innovative thinking and garnering relationships that are relevant to promote this exciting, original event. She continues to be actively involved on a volunteer basis in the industry through various professional associations. Currently Linda is the Directory of Industry for the Interior Designers of Canada.
