AZURE Talks: Eric Bunge of nArchitects, the acclaimed U.S. firm behind such projects as the recently completed New York State Equal Rights Heritage Center in the Finger Lakes town of Auburn, will deliver a keynote address at ARCHITEC@WORK Toronto. Presented by AZURE Magazine, his keynote is titled “Buildings and Almost Buildings.”Organized around the theme of the firm’s new book, Bunge will present ongoing work that reflects his practice’s approach to the design of buildings and public spaces for a world in flux.
Described by World Architecture News as “part of a select group crowned to lead the next generation of designers in the 21st century,” nARCHITECTS was founded by Bunge and Mimi Hoang in 1999. The architect, who is a native of Montreal, will be speaking at ARCHITECT@WORK, Enercare Centre, 100 Princes’ Boulevard, at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4.
