Postponement A@W Canada 2022

In response to recent developments regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to postpone the A@W Canada 2022 edition.  

We will monitor the Canadian market situation regularly and plan for the next edition.

It is our highest aim to guarantee and deliver a safe and high-quality event for our visitors and exhibitors.

This shift will allow us to ensure business as usual: a wide selection of high-end brands showcasing their latest innovations, accredited talks program, topped off with a trendy and lounge-like atmosphere where you can meet up with the Canadian architecture and design community.

Due to the unknown duration of COVID-19 and the necessary measures of social distancing, we have postponed the 2020 edition of ARCHITECT@WORK Canada.

Nevertheless, we are pleased to inform you that ARCHITECT@WORK Canada will return next year to Toronto’s Enercare Centre on April 28th & 29th, 2021.

After long and thoughtful consideration, we inform you that we have taken the decision to postpone the organization of ARCHITECT@WORK Canada 2020.

The ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and the unknown duration for social distancing and other measures imposed on us all, implies that this year’s edition will be re-scheduled to 2021 in the best interest of the show and the wellbeing of both our exhibitors and visitors.

Nevertheless, we are pleased to inform you that ARCHITECT@WORK Canada will be back on April 28th & 29th, 2021 at the Enercare Centre, downtown Toronto.

Based in Portland, Oregon, Waechter’s eponymous studio was recently named one of North America’s most notable emerging practices, recognized for its visionary clarity and sensitivity to a given site. Among his best-known projects is Tower House, a family dwelling sited on a steep incline accessible via a 25-foot long bridge. His talk is presented by Azure magazine, which featured the firm’s Origami Townhouses in this year’s Annual Houses Issue.

ARCHITECT@WORK goes overseas: the concept conquers Canada

The ARCHITECT@WORK concept has been around for many years and never misses out on new opportunities. As more and more exhibitors have been asking for an overseas version of ARCHITECT@WORK, the organisation set out to find the best possible place. We are, therefore, proud to announce that we have found the ideal location in Toronto, Canada.

ARCHITECT@WORK Toronto is scheduled for May 17 & 18, 2017 in the Enercare Centre. The event will be open from 11 am until 7 pm on both days. Canada, thus, becomes our 14th country for ARCHITECT@WORK, creating a grand total of 22 editions!

We will be working closely with ARCHELLO on this event and they will be our interface in Canada for marketing the concept.
